The Best Pre-Golf Warm-Up to Prevent Back Pain

Protect your lower back and unleash your best swing with these pre-game drills

Don’t Let a Tight Back Ruin Your Game

You’re cutting it fine to get to your tee-time. Not for the first time. Your pals are ready to go, so it’s ball on the tee, and wallop… You’re off.

But what about your back? Is it going to hold up over the next 18 holes? It’s not ideal preparation, is it?

If you’ve used a full swing with your driver, you’ve probably just put more force through your lower back than you have at any other time this week. And all without a warm-up. Basically, you are hoping that everything will be OK. You are winging it.

Wouldn’t it be better to prepare your back for this sort of exertion? Every professional golfer thinks so. And you’re not as fit and healthy as them, are you? So why do you think you’re going to get away with it?

So, we’ve teamed up with Oliver C Morton from The Leading Edge Golf Company, and he has videoed 3 warm-up drills to get you swinging AND to get you firing up your core, ready to stabilise your lower back. (We can’t get you to the course 10 minutes earlier - that’s your job!)

Remember the 1st Rule of Rehabilitation when doing these or any exercises - “Use it or Lose it, But Don’t Abuse it”. So, if it hurts, back off!

And if you’d like to find out more about how to achieve a long-term solution to your lower back pain / sciatica, you have a couple of totally free options…
